1 20 oz can crushed, undrained pineapple
2/3 cup sugar
1 8 oz pkg softened cream cheese
1 cup diced un-peeled apples
1 cup diced celery
1 3 oz pkg. lemon gelatin
1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
1 cup whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, add gelatin, and stir until dissolved.

Add cream cheese and stir until mixture is thoroughly combined; cool.

Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.

Pour into a 9 in square pan. Chill until firm. Cut into
squares and serve on lettuce leaves.

Serves 9 12.

Double recipe will fill a 9 x 13 inch pan.
