"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
2-3 lbs. hamburger 1 onion - chopped 1 green pepper - chopped 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 14.5 oz. can tomato sauce 1 small can tomato paste 3 cans tomato soup 2 cans Brooks Chili Beans 2 cans Brooks Dark Kidney Beans 1 pkg. Lawry's Mild Chili Mix
Brown hamburger with onion and green pepper. Drain fat. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Fill 2 cans of the tomato soup with water and add to chili. Bring to boil. Once boiling, lower heat and simmer for at least 1/2 hour.
Sometimes I add macaroni noodles. Just cook the noodles first according to the pkg. directions and add to the chili just before serving. You may need to increase the water amount if noodles are going to be added.
This makes a big batch! I usually freeze at least half of it for an easy-to-make dinner night down the road!
