1 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar packed down 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups sifted flour
Cream butter and sugar. Gradually blend in yolk, vanilla, salt, and flour. Mix well. Press into 10" by 15" by 1" greased baking sheet. Bake 350º for 20 minutes. Immediately put Hershey chocolate bars (about 3 bars), let melt, and spread over top. Spread with chopped walnuts.
