1 cup brown sugar,
2 heaping tbsp. flour
2 cups milk
3 eggs yolks - beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 9 inch baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugan, flour and milk in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Slowly pour 1/3 of the hot mixture into beaten eagg yolks. Add egg yolk mixture back to hot pudding. Bring to a bubbling boil and boil again for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into a cooked pie shell. Refrigerate and Serve. (merinque or whipped cream may be added to the top)
