1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Coating:
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Bake @Roll each ball in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 .
