1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups cornmeal, yellow
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with the cornmeal and add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Bake in a greased 9x13 pan at 350 for 35 minutes, or until done.
