3/4 cup soft margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups sour cream

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 350. Grease a tube pan, 10 x 4, a 12-cup bundt pan or 2 loaf pans, 9 x 5 x 3. Combine margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Mix in flour, baking powder, soda and salt alternately with the sour cream.

For a tube or bundt pan, spread 1/2 of the batter in the pan and sprinkle with 1/2 the filling; repeat. For loaf pans, divide 1/2 of the batter between the two loaf pans and sprinkle with 1/2 of the filling between the two loaf pans; repeat.

Bake about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from pan.
