12 lg. cabbage leaves, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 cup chopped celery, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 cup cooked rice, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 med. tomato chopped, dash, pepper, 1/4 cup catsup, 1 egg, 8 oz. can tomato sauce, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. basil leaves, 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Cook cabbage leaves in boiling water for 5 min. Cut up rest of cabbage and cook. Drain and set aside. In large skillet brown ground beef, celery ,onion and drain. Add rice, salt, tomato,pepper catsup and egg.Mix well and heat through. Divide meat mix. on each cabbage leaf or put meat on top of chopped cabbage. Then add more cabbage on top. Mix tomato sauce, basil and sugar pour over cabbage and cover with foil. ( I usually double tomato sauce mix). Bake in 350 oven for 45 in. Remove foil and sprinkle on cheese during last 5 min. of baking.
