1 lb bag of shredded hash browns
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 small onion chopped
8 oz sour cream
12 oz bag shredded cheddar
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sautee onion in a little butter ahead of time
Mix hasbrowns, soup, sour cream, butter and onion together. Once this is mixed well add one cup cheese.

Pour into casserole dish and cover the top with the rest of cheese.
Bake covered for 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake additional 15 minutes allowing cheese to brown.
