1 medium onion, chopped
2 celery ribs, diced
2 carrots, diced
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups chicken broth
1 pkg. uncle ben's original wild rice, prepared as package directions says
2 cups half-and-half
2 cups diced cooked turkey
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
salt and pepper

In large kettle, saute vegetables in butter. Reduce heat. Blend in flour and cook until bubbly. Add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat and add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
