1/2 C. melted butter
3 T. Flour, mixed well with cool water to form a paste.
3 C. Chicken Broth
3 C. Cooked Diced Chicken
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1t. garlic salt or 1 garlic clove
1 can veg-all or vegetables of your choice.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and flour over low heat. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until smooth and thick. Stir in chicken, seasonings and vegetables. Pour into greased pan and top with pastry strips. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Pie Crust for Pastry Strips:

1/2 C. buttered flavored Crisco
1/4 C. milk
1 C. Flour
1/2 t. salt

Mix flour and salt. Cut in Crisco with a fork until mixture is the size of peas. Add milk and mix until well blended. Roll out and place in pie plate. Do not stretch,. Cut into strips or use as a single pie crust.
