Ingredients:
10 cups popped popcorn
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put popcorn on a cookie sheet in the oven at 250 to warm. Add 1 1/2 c. peanuts. Mix butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup, and salt in a heavy sauce pan. Boil over medium heat stirring constantly until sauce comes to a good boil. Turn the heat down and let it boil for 5 min. on medium heat. Take sauce off the stove and mix soda and vanilla together, then add to sauce. Pour caramel sauce over the popcorn (easiest if warmed popcorn is in a large bowl). Make sure that sauce is spread through the popcorn and then return popcorn to a cookie sheet and put into the oven for 45 minutes at 250. Stir the caramel corn when it has cooked for about half the time. Enjoy!
