1/2 pint whipping cream
1 square butter
1 egg yolk
1 egg white, stiffly beaten
1 pkg. vanilla snaps
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup drained, crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter. Add egg yolk, pineapple and nuts. Fold into beaten egg white. Make sandwiches of three vanilla wafers, putting mixture between, but not on top. Put in refrigerator overnight. Whip cream until stiff and sweeten to taste. Coat the sandwiches generously with cream, sprinkle on shredded coconut, and place in refrigerator for 4 hours.
