2 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, or freshly ground nutmeg
4 cups dry bread crumbs or cake cut in cubes, 1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup almonds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the eggs. Add milk, sugar and spices of choice. Pour liquid over the bread or cake crumbs in a pudding dish. Let stand until thoroughly soaked.Add raisins and nuts and toss lightly. Bake for 20 min. in a 350 oven. Serve hot with pudding sauce, milk, or jelly.
