8 Apples
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 stick of butter, (syrup)
1 cup sugar
2 cups water, tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla, your favorite pie crust home made.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 0ven 350. Make your favorite pie crust and roll dough and cut in 6 inch squares. Peel and core apples. Place apple on each square. Mix the sugar and cinnamon sprinkle over apples. Dot of butter. Fold dough around apple. Bake in preheated oven. Mix sugar,water,butter and boil 3 min. Add vanilla. Pour over dumplings after they have started to brown.Continue to bake until apples are tender.
