5 c. Pecans (about 1 1/4 lbs)
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put nuts in a shallow pan in oven at 300. While nuts are heating, beat egg whites add salt and sugar gradually. Take nuts out of oven and fold in egg mixture, melt butter and add to nuts. Bake for 30 min. turning every 10 min.
