1 c. quick oats
1 1/2. c. boiling water
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour

Icing:
1 stick butter
2 egg yolks
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the oats. Let soak. Combine the remaining cake ingredients and add to the oatmeal mixture. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan. Bake 35-40 min. at 350F. Mix icing ingredients together. spread icing on cake and continue to bake for about 20 min or until light brown. Allow cake to cool for 10 min. Run a knife around the pan edges to release the icing from the pan turning the cake out onto a plate.
