1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 (9 oz.) package chocolate kisses
powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour and nuts. Chill dough. Remove wrappings from kisses. Heat oven to 375º. Using about 1 tbsp. of dough shape it around a kiss and roll it to make a ball. Be sure to cover kiss completely. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until set but not brown. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Store in tightly covered container.
