2 packages crescent rolls
2 packages cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon juice or 1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 1/4 c. sugar (divided)
1/4 c. almonds, sliced
1 egg, separated

Directions:
Directions:
Press 1 package of crescent rolls into ungreased 9X13 cake pan. Cream the cream cheese with vanilla, lemon juice (or almond extract), 3/4 cup sugar and egg yolk. Spread evenly on the crescent roll. Top with remaining package of crescent rolls. Beat egg white until frothy. Spread egg white over crescent roll. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and sliced almonds over egg white. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
