1 German Sweet Chocolate cake mix
1 small pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1-14 oz. bag of caramels
1 stick of oleo
1/3 cup cream or 1 small can evaporated milk




Directions:
Directions:
Mix german sweet chocolate cake mix according to directions and bake 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13 pan at 350. Bake 15 min. or until done. Remove baked cake from oven - sprinkle on chocolate chips or nuts or both.
In microwave melt caramels with oleo and cream or evaporated milk. Stir several times until mixture is creamy. Let it bubble a little.
Pour the caramel mixture on the baked cake. Pour the remaining cake mixture over the caramel layer. Bake additional 15 minutes.
Serve with ice cream or cream topping.
