1 C. Hot Water
1 C. Light Karo Syrup
4 C. Sugar
4 Egg Whites
1 C. nuts
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water, syrup and sugar to hard ball stage. (It knocks when tapped) Over 30 Minutes.

Beat the egg whites with mixer until thick and fluffy. This takes a long time. Add the nuts and vanilla. Drizzle boiling hot mixture into beaten whites while still beating with mixer. When it gets too thick mix by hand. Drop on wax paper. Cool and enjoy.

Do you remember this one? Best candy in the worrld. This is not easy to do. I've tried and not been too successful. Just keep beating with the mixer.
