Caramelized Almonds:
c. sliced almonds
3 tbsp. sugar
Put in pan at medium heat. Melt sugar over almonds.
Barely brown sugar. Cool and break apart. Add to
salad just before serving.

Toss in large salad bowl:
1 head iceberg lettuce
1 head red leaf lettuce
2 med stalks of celery, chopped at an angle
3 green onions, chopped
2 cans of mandarin oranges, drained and put in salad
just before serving.

Dressing:
c. vegetable oil
c. sugar
c. red wine vinegar
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Toss dressing and almonds with all ingredients just before serving.
