1 cup all purchase flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sugr
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/4 melted shortening
1 cup fresh corn kernels or whole
4 tbsp baking powder
4 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 425. 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.

In bowl, conbine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt, Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat until smooth. Stir in corn and bacon. Pour into a greased baking pan.
