Microwave the following on hi for 3 minutes stirring
every minute:
1 c. brown sugar
c. corn syrup
c. margarine or butter
Dash of salt
When mixture is boiling, microwave on hi for 2 minutes
more.
Stir in tsp. baking soda.

Pour caramel over 3-4 quarts of popped popcorn in a
paper bag and shake to coat popcorn evenly. Put
paper bag in microwave for 1 minutes longer.
Spread out on wax paper to cool.
