2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 can Festal Pumpkin (15 oz)
1 cup ground walnuts
1 cup ground raisins (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 scant tsp. salt
4 cups flour

Mix well and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in 375 oven. Cool & frost!
