1 C. Shortening 1/2 tsp. Salt
1 C. Sugar 3 C. Flour
3 Eggs 1/2 C. Cocoa
1 C. Sour Milk or buttermilk 1 C. Hot Water
1 tsp. Vanilla 2 tsp. Soda

Combine ingredients and bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes or until done.
