1 can whole green beans 2 T. orange juice 1 T. dijon mustard 2 tsp. brown sugar 2 T. butter 1 small red onion, thin slices 1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans 1/2 tsp. sea salt 1/4 tsp. thyme
In small bowl, whisk together orange juice, mustard and sugar. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat, add onions and pecans. Cook until onions are limp and carmelized, approx. 10 minutes. Toss beans in skillet and add sauce. After completely covered, sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper. Heat for additional two minutes.
