"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Base 2 cups flour 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter 1 cup chopped pecans/walnuts
Topping 1 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 cup chocolate chips
Mix and press first 3 ingredients into 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle evenly with chopped nuts. Bring butter and sugar to boil for 30 seconds and pour over crust. Bake in 350 º oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top while still hot. Once chocolate is melted spread evenly. Cool and cut into squares.
You can add more chopped nuts to top if desired. These are yummy and go over well at any family gathering.
