3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
6 T. cocoa
2 c. cold water
1 c. oil
2 T. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts optional

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Add cold water oil, vinegar and vanilla - mix well. Add nuts now or on top of frosting. Bake in 9x13 greased pan at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.

My favorite chocolate cake! Sometimes I add 1 or 2 tsp. of cinnamon to mix - taste great. Add Butter Cream frosting with almond extract or cocoa for a double chocolate flavor! Top with nuts.
