8 Milkyway candy bars (regular size)
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk (or milk with 1 to 2 tsp. vinegar)
1 tsp. vanilla
1c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Slowly melt candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in microwave. Mix the rest of the butter with sugar and eggs. Add flour and baking soda alternately with milk and vanilla. Don't forget the nuts! Pour into greased bundt or angel food cake pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. 20 min. checking near end so it doesn't overcook.

When I married Gary and he moved me to the farm out in the middle of nowhere I met an older farm wife that gave me this recipe. I've used it for 25 years now. Imagine my shock when I realized that "older farm wife" was about the age I am now!
