3 c. boiled, mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
TOPPING: 1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/3 cup butter
1 c. chopped nuts (pecan or walnut)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add to mashed sweet potatoes and mix well. Pour into greased casserole dish.

Mix topping and crumble on top. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 min.

This is a wonderful Southern recipe that is requested at our home every Thanksgiving. It's good enough to serve as a dessert! But I count it as a vegetable so I can have pie after dinner!
