Make cake mix as directed. Melt caramels and margarine with evaporated
milk. Bring to a slow boil.
Pour ½ of cake batter into greased and floured 9x12 plan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Put chocolate chips and caramel mixture on top of baked cake immediately. Pour remaining ½ of cake batter on top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts
