2 c. dry bread cubes
4 c. scalded milk
1 T. butter
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. sugar
4 slightly beated eggs
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread in milk for 5 minutes. Add butter, salt, and sugar. Pour slowly over eggs. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350 F until firm, about 50 minutes.
