2 c all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutneg
1/4 c oil
3/4 c low fat milk (fat free, 1%,2%)
1 egg white

Oil for deep frying.

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir with swisk until blended. Pour oil and milk into one measuring cup. Then add with egg white to dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until mixed. Small puffs are attractive and cook best, so drop the batter by teaspoonfuls into deep oil heated to 375F. Do not crowd in the pan. Fry until golden - about 3 minutes. Turn once. Drain on paper towel.
I always cut one of the first donuts in half to be sure they have cooked thru.
