12 biscuits (I make them with Jiffy Mix)
1 lb bulk sausage
1/4 c flour
2 c milk or cream (or some of each)
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp maple flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
In a large, heavy skillet, brown the sausage, breaking meat into small pieces. When it is browned, drain grease, reserving @ 1 Tbsp in pan. Add flour and seasoning and stir well, allowing flour to brown lightly. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, and allow to come to a boil over medium heat. Add maple flavoring, stir well, and serve over sliced biscuits.
