1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups whole raw almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Set aside an ungreased cookie sheet. In a heavy 2-quart skillet, combine water, sugar and cinnamon. Place over high heat and stir with wooden spoon until mixture comes to a complete boil. Add almonds and stir continuously. Reduce heat to medium. Stir until mixture foams and turns to sugar. Continue stirring until the sugar remelts and caramelizes. (This takes quite a while.) Remove from heat and pour out onto cookie sheet and separate if necessary.
