3 T. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. cinnimon
1.2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c. sifted flour
3 c. diced apples
1/4 c. nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together, add to creamed mix. Stir in rest of ingredients. Put in 8 x 8 x 2 inch, greased pan. Bake at 350 for 40 min.
