1 box raisins
2 cups water
1 cup cold water
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 Tbs baking soda
1/4 tsp all spice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the raisins in 2 cups water for 15 minutes; then add 1 cup cold water. Add in the remaining ingredients, mix well. Bake in a moderate oven (350 - 375F) for 1 1/4 hours.
