1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1large egg yolk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350
2. In large bowl, stir butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until well mixed. Stir in flour and salt. Press dough in ungreased 13x9 inch pan.
3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until very light brown (crust will be soft). Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crust. Let stand about 5 minutes or until soft; spread evenly. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool 30 minutes in pan on wire rack. To cut into bars easily, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows while still warm.
