Pastry for two crust pie 1½ c sugar 1/3 c flour 1/8 tsp salt 3 drops almond extract 4 c pie cherries 2 Tbsp butter
Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Add almond extract to cherries and toss with sugar/flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Turn into pastry lined 9” pan. Put on top, flute edges. Bake in hot oven (425°) for about 40 minutes.
