"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
¾ c butter (no substitutes) 1 1/8 c sugar 1½ tsp vanilla 1½ oz baking chocolate 3 eggs Baked pie shell
Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and melted chocolate in large mixing bowl. Add one egg and beat 5 minutes. Add second egg and beat 3 minutes. Add third egg and beat 2 minutes. Pour filling into baked and cooled pie crust. Chill pie for about an hour to allow set up.
Do not try to save time by reducing mixing times. They are key to making this pie that is sure to draw rave reviews. This pie is VERY chocolatey and ALWAYS garners a ton of positive feedback!!!
