1/3 c softened butter 1/3 c packed brown sugar 1 c flour ½ c chopped walnuts 8 oz cream cheese ¼ c sugar 1 egg 2 Tbsp milk 1 Tbsp lemon juice ½ tsp vanilla
Beat butter and sugar together. Add flour and nuts and blend until crumbly. Set aside 1 c of mixture. Press remaining mixture in a greased 8x8” pan and bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Cream cheese and sugar together and add egg and add liquids. Mix well. Pour over baked crust and top with reserved crumb mixture. Return to oven for 25 minutes. Let cool to room temperature, then chill.
