1˝ c shortening
2 c sugar
2 eggs
˝ c molasses
4 c flour
4 tsp soda
˝ tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1˝ tsp cloves
1˝ tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses and sift in dry ingredients. Mix together and form into walnut-sized balls. Bake at 375°, on greased cookie sheet, for 8 - 10 minutes.
