8 cups sliced squash
1-1/2 cups sliced onion
1 diced green pepper
1 tbsp. pickling salt
2 cups vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1-1/2 tsp. mustard seed.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine squash onion and pepper with salt. Mix well. Let stand for 2-3 hours- then drain.Place in hot scalded canning jars.
Boil vinegar sugar and spices . pour this over the squash and seal lids.
