12 cups shredded cabbage
2 large red onions, chopped
2 large bell peppers, chopped
2 large carrots, grated
1 cup sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp dill
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/2 cup salad oil

Directions:
Directions:
Layer vegetables in large tupperware bowl. Combine other ingredients (except oil) and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add oil. Drizzle over vegetables, cover (do not stir), and place in refridgerator for 24 hours. Remove and toss.

My Aunt Jewel Burton was a fabulous cook. You never left her house hungry - just ask Larry! This is a Fourth of July must have salad. It is easy to mix up beforehand and grab for a picnic or tailgate, too!
