1 can minced clams, drained, but reserve liquid
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper
1/2 c. milk (or 1/2 c. clam juice)
2 tbl. olive oil
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all of the above ingredients and drop by tablespoon into deep, hot fat - fry until golden brown - makes about 24 clam fritters
