4 lbs. potatoes
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. caraway seeds
6 chopped leeks
2 qts. water
2 qts. milk
2 tbsp. chopped marjoram
1 tsp. paprika,
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub potatoes, place unpeeled in stock pot with caraway seed, water & salt. Cook slowly for 30 minutes. Peel potatoes, & cut them fine. Place in pot with liquid and peelings. Add leeks, chopped fine. Cook 30 minutes & put through coarse sieve, then add milk and heat throughly. Add marjoram and paprika and garnish with bacon. Serve
