1 loaf French bacquette
freshly grated romano cheese
olive oil
Optional ingredient: 1 large finely diced tomato drained, fresh or dried basil leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Thinly slice on an angle the loaf of bread. Lightly toast on a low broil. Flip bread slices over and lightly brush on olive oil. Sprinkle grated cheese and return to oven. You must stand and watch the bread throughout the cooking time. It only takes a minute or two depending on your oven. Other variations include topping the bread with fresh basil and chopped tomatoes.
