3 medium turnips pared and diced
1 medium onion - diced
3 medium potatoes - cubed
1 ham hock, whole or cut into pieces, plus bone

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and add water to cover 2 inches above vegetables. Cook until done and add a glob of butter
