2 gal. chopped pears
2 lemons
1 cup vinegar
4 apples with peel
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
2 boxes raisins
2 oranges with peel
5 cups sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 cups water

Directions:

Cook slowly and stir constantly until tender and thick. Put into jars and seal.
